Christmas Valley
        
Christmas Valley is often sought after for its fast, intermittently
technical downhill. But don't go just for that. There's a perfect
single-track climb on the Tahoe Rim Trail, a spectacular meadow, lush
green vegetation through the Upper Truckee River canyon and a side trip to
a majestic lake that offers perfect swimming the entire summer. Nah,
