Armstrong to Toad's
        
Riding Armstrong Pass to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is probably the best
all-around mountain bike trail in Lake Tahoe. As a stand alone loop, it
contains the most vertical feet of climbing and one of the areas best
downhills. It is almost all single-track. The views are exceptional
looking south deep into the Sierra Nevadas and Hope Valley and north into
Desolation Wilderness and Lake Tahoe. Only experienced riders that are
willing to climb for the downhill need apply....
